What is Covered & How it’s Priced

While our service offerings are flexible, it’s nonetheless helpful to add structure and outline the specific items that will typically be covered in each type of cleaning.

For Move-In/Out cleanings, everything needs to be done, including inside the fridge, stove, cabinets, etc. (all the areas that are unaccessible when someone is living in the home). Since the scope is clear, these jobs are done with a fixed price.

For all other types of cleanings, we will provide an estimate of how long we expect the job to take based on the scope (i.e., Standard vs Deep, per the checklist below), but since the jobs are priced on an hourly basis, you can schedule for our estimated time to complete everything on the checklist or choose which areas you’d like us to focus on. We’re flexible!

One important thing to note: if you’d estimate your place at an 8 out of 10 or more on the “dirtininess scale” (no judgements here!), it may take substantially longer to clean. We’re of course happy to assist — we just want to manage expectations.

Moving/operating significant items in your home that could be damaged in the process are typically not included in our Standard, Deep, or Move-In/Out service offerings.

Basically, we typically don’t do “maid” activities (dishes, laundry, etc.), cleaning window blinds/shutters (they can be tricky!), significant home organizing (tidying and decluttering large volumes of stuff), or moving furniture/decor (we usually can clean around/under it just as well).

To be clear, we’ve never damaged anything in our customer’s homes, and we of course don’t want to have a first! If you’re OK with the risk and want some help with things on our “don’t do” list, we can accommodate — we just need your consent. Again, our goal is to make sure you’re happy.

Also, for Airbnb and short-term rentals, we understand that laundry and dishes may need to be done as part of the cleaning service. We’re happy to accommodate for these types of jobs.
